MyPetStore Ad Studio Privacy Policy

MyPetStore Ad Studio is an AI-powered marketing tool operated by MyPetStore (mypetstore.shop). The app is available at mypetstore-ad-studio.netlify.app. It generates advertising copy, blog posts, and social media content for MyPetStore's pet products, and can publish that content to social platforms connected through each platform's official authorization (OAuth) flow.

Non-affiliation statement

MyPetStore Ad Studio is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, associated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pinterest, TikTok, Meta, Shopify, or any other social media or e-commerce platform whose services it may connect to. All platform names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the services the app can connect to.

Information we collect

  • Visitors: the app does not require an account, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not collect personal information from visitors. Product details typed into the ad generator are sent to an AI service (Anthropic's Claude API) solely to generate ad copy and are not stored by the app.
  • Connected platforms: when a social platform (such as Pinterest, TikTok, or Shopify) is connected through its official OAuth flow, the app stores the resulting access token securely in its hosting infrastructure (Netlify). Tokens are used only to publish content to, or read catalog data from, the specific account that was authorized.
  • Basic account details: for connected platforms, the app may read basic profile information (such as the account's display name and posting permissions) where the platform's API requires it to publish content correctly. This information is not stored beyond what is needed to complete publishing.

How we use information

Data accessed through connected platforms is used exclusively to generate and publish marketing content to the connected account. We do not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties, and we do not access data belonging to other users of those platforms.

Data retention and deletion

Generated content bundles are retained for display in the app's content calendar. OAuth access tokens are retained until the integration is disconnected, at which point they are deleted. You can also revoke the app's access at any time from the connected platform's own settings (for example, Pinterest's connected apps settings).
